International Women’s Day 2026

International Women’s Day Breakfast event, Royal Yacht Hotel, Friday 6th March 2026
This years' theme of 'Give to Gain' was truly brought to life by our incredible speakers at the Freeda breakfast event on Friday. They gave us inspiration, courage and knowledge so that we could gain connection, motivation and hope.

Thank you to our incredible patron Lady Kyd for your powerful words and continued support; to Caitlin O'Ryan for sharing your beautiful work and view of todays' world for women and girls; to Georgia Gabriel-Hooper for the honest and raw story of your survival despite personal tragedy in the hope that you save others.

Thank you also to Chief Minister Lyndon Farnham for providing an update of the Government's work on preventing violence against and women and girls, and reassuring us that the work will continue until all women and girls are safe, supported and empowered - because domestic abuse is everyone's problem.

We are extremely grateful to our ongoing supporters and sponsors of the event CSC, their sponsorship means that all funds raised on the day directly impact families in need.

When society refuses to look away from domestic abuse - when it chooses courage over silence - it gains something priceless: safety.

'Behind every statistic is a human story. Sometimes the signs are quiet but they are there'.
